nTact utilizes its technology and system design experience to develop high-performance coating equipment for the production of thin film coatings. High precision slot die coatings (extrusion coatings) are often key to the successful development and manufacturing of thin film dependent devices.
nRad – Research and Development System
nTact’s proprietary slot die coating technology delivered in a small footprint, affordable platform geared to the R&D and pre-production market. The standard package is designed for the processing of 150 and/or 200mm square substrate sizes with a variety of optional features available for other applications.

nRad R2R – Research and Development System
nTact’s state of the art nRad system is now available with modules which allow for processing on a roll-to-roll (R2R) platform. This new system platform addresses two major road-blocks operators face when performing R&D in a roll-to-roll process: flexibility to process a broad range of materials (usually limited by oven size and configuration), and limit the inherently high material consumption on a continuous R2R process. The nRad R2R is able to accomplish both and still maintain a relatively small footprint, at an affordable price.

Selective Coating & Macro Patterning
nTact has developed a technique for depositing multiple, well defined coated areas on a single substrate. Essentially any array of rectangular shapes can be coated on a single panel (within fluid property limitations) without the use of a mask. In addition, nTact has developed a method to provide low-resolution patterning (Macro Patterning) of the coated areas. This method can be used to achieve complex patterns as well as rectilinear shapes.
