nTact, a leading supplier of slot die coating systems, announced that Miguel Friedrich, Vice President, Sales, made a presentation on “Slot Die Coating – a Scalable Solution” at the LOPE-C Exhibitors Forum on Wednesday, 20 June, 2:00 PM at LOPE-C 2012 in Munich, Germany. He provided an update on nTact’s latest in slot die based coating technology and the advantages of using their systems as a scalable platform to take customers from initial R&D to mass production.
The company’s product lines include the nRad Series, designed for applications in R&D and preproduction, along with the nDeavor Systems for pilot and full production. The nRad line consists of small, lower priced, slot die coating systems built upon nTact’s patented technology and engineered for use in R&D and pre-production environments. The nRad’s simple yet flexible design provides accurate deposition of a wide range of materials for a variety of applications such as OLED displays and lighting, as well as various organic and inorganic PV devices. The nRad series coaters are available in two configurations: the nRad, designed for processing of 150mm square substrates, with options for wafers up to 200mm or panels up to A4 size; and the new nRad2, available for substrates up to 370 x 470mm, as well as 300mm wafers. Both systems are compatible with inert gas gloveboxes and laboratory benchtops.
