nTact and the Texas State University Department of Physics have teamed up to develop new process technology in the field of photovoltaics. By using Perovskite materials to develop solar cells, this partnerships aims at developing a scalable and stable solution for making perovskite PV panels. The two organizations recently received an award from the National Science Foundation (NSF) which will serve as a catalyst for furthering their joint research program.

nTact has been working with the Holst Centre since 2008 and officially became a partner in 2010.  The partnership is focused on applying nTact’s unique coating technology to a continuous roll-to-roll process for large area printing or OLED lighting and OPV devices.
